Sunday 1/12 my past week

Sunday, January 12, 2020

So.....had all intentions to start walking at my local park - didn't happen - on Monday and Tuesday my son needed to be at work at 5:00 am which meant I needed to be up at 3:30 and when I got home from taking him I just went back to bed (walking at my local park at that time wouldn't have been very smart anyway) By the time I got up I had a ton of errands to run so I at least parked as far away from the stores as possible.

I do cross stitching every Tuesday with a group of ladies at my local stitching store and we were asked if we'd like to stitch a free chart that for every person who completed it and the shop sent a picture of they would donate to the Austrian wild fire fund to help the animals. Well of course!

I also started back to my scout meetings this last week. Talked with the leader of the Webelos den and the boys and parents are going to be visiting in a couple of weeks and one of my jobs is to do a "parent talk" about how our group is run etc. One of the boys of our Troop also asked me to do the Family Life and Cooking Merit badge with him so between the 13 new boys I'll be getting (it's my job to get them to their Scout Rank - they bridge over in March/April and I try to get it all done before summer camp the week of July 4th) and the 2 merit badges I'll be doing I'm very busy.

Still trying to fit in going to the gym and this week might be a good week as my son is just going in to work at 9 so I can just go right over to it. I just can't help thinking of all the things I need to do that while I'm walking on the treadmill or on the bike I need to get done and always want to rush out of there to go do errands/chores. Do any of you have a way of stopping your brains from doing that???

Hope everyone has a good week ahead - until next time

I once read that one way to reduce stress is to set a certain time of day to do your worrying. When my brain starts thinking about all those things that need to get done, I remind myself that I will worry about that at 1 O’clock—right after lunch is my worrying time.
    Good Luck, and Good Week.
