Tracking Blog week of Jan 12

Sunday, January 12, 2020

Last week was a good week for exercise. And a good week for my eating. Dental surgery on Tue made is pretty easy to avoid any boredom eating for a few days!

I donated 7 boxes of books and a box of miscellaneous housewares to Salvation Army. I'll have more stuff ready to go later this week. We will hopefully be moving this year, so I want to get rid of as much as I can before we start on that project.

Our new pastor started a Wednesday study of Methodism last week and I plan to attend those classes with my childhood BFF, Lisa. Lisa actually goes to another Methodist church, but our pastor is the one who married Lisa and her DH, and she was at Lisa's church when Lisa was going to medical school. They spent a LOT of time praying Lisa through school!

a bit of good news:

and a song:

date / calories in / total calories burned / exercise

Sun Jan 12 - 1279 / 2282 emoticon (18x27=25 flights)

Mon Jan 13 - 1773 / 2399 emoticon (9x54=27 flights)

Tue Jan 14 - 1654 / 2467 emoticon (6x64 + 67 = 27 flights)

Wed Jan 15 - 2527 / 2323 emoticon emoticon (8x54 = 26 flights)

Thu Jan 16 - 1268 / 2328 emoticon (6x64 + 67 = 26 flights)

Fri Jan 17 - 1215 / 2760 emoticon (8x54 PLUS 6x64 + 67 + 21 = 25 flights)

Sat Jan 18 - / emoticon (18x24 = 26 flights)

** I am trying a form of Intermittent Fasting. For me, that's 2 non-consecutive days of ultra low cal eating. On those days, I eat highest protein / highest fiber that I possibly can. This keeps me from being hungry. I also plan these days around my workouts - days where my only exercise is walking or yoga.

The 'calories in' info is from Spark's nutrition tracker. The 'total calories burned' info is from my Garmin app. I have a smart watch that constantly tracks my heart rate, so I feel this is the most accurate way to track calories burned.

Current Streaks -

10,000+ steps/day - 651 days

weeks of limiting sweets to ONE day/week - 6

days missed nutrition tracking in 2020 - ZERO!
