A Note About Exercise

So I thought I was ready to progress past the easy chair exercises and move on to advanced chair exercises and floor yoga, but I was getting ahead of myself. I decided to lay down on the floor and see if I could just do one simple pose and just laying on the floor was painful and hurt not only my back but also my ribs. And trying to bring my knees to my chest was nearly impossible. This was something that used to be so easy. So at least for now I'm going to have to stick with chair exercises and I've decided to stick with the simple ones. Especially after feeling that pain in my ribs, I decided that pushing it too much would be a bad idea. Thinking about my past history, I know that I can tend to overexercise and that is something I want to avoid. I've already gone from doing 5 minute workouts to doing 20-25 minute workouts in just six weeks. And I've been having pain in my ribs and knees lately so I think it's in my best interest to stick with the simpler exercises.
