Eating on the Road

First, hit my first mini-goal of 5 pounds down! I know it's mostly water weight, but being able to place a check mark next to the first goal is motivating for me! Next goal: lose 2.7 more pounds, to get out of the 250s.
One thing I do need to make a tighter plan for is eating on the road. I started a new job in July, and I travel often...sometimes 4 out of 5 weekdays. That means I am eating out very often. For the longer trips in one place, I make sure to go to a grocery store and buy what I need to make lunch. Dinner is where I need to get better. At first, I was pretty excited to be able to try all sorts of delicious food (and have work pay for it!). Although my mindset is shifting here, I need to make a concrete plan around making good choices and figuring out how to track what I am eating.
I haven't quite figured it out.
