Goals & Gratitude 12/4/19

Thursday, December 05, 2019

It poured here in So. Cal. for most of the day. I didn't want to go out but had some errands this morning. Of course, it stopped raining as I was driving home from my last stop. Of course! I was just glad to get indoors again. I got a good amount of homework done today and I'm confident I can be done for the week by Friday evening. Then it's on to finals. I have one final due next week Tuesday, a final project due Wednesday, two more tests due the Saturday after that, and then a final project due that Sunday. Finally, the light at the end of the tunnel!

I'm still finalizing things for the Angel Tree party. I have five gifts I'm tracking down. I'm hoping they all get dropped off tomorrow night. Otherwise I'm going to have to drive to people's houses to get them on Friday and I don't want to do that. I have goodie bags to make for crafts for the kids. And I have some presents to wrap and otherwise just have to make sure I have everything and get it in the car. The big disappointment is that it's supposed to rain on Saturday, so we will probably not have a lot of kids. emoticon

Tomorrow's Goals:
1) Finish Ch. 11 for Bookkeeping.
2) Finish Ch. 8 for Excel.
3) Read Ch. 12 for Taxes.

Today I'm Grateful For...
1) The rain (once I was home). We need the water.
2) That I had my last Tax Planning class tonight, and that it was a short class.
3) That I have the electric blanket on my bed.

I am so glad that you can see the light at the end of the tunnel! It will all be so worthwhile. You have rain and we have snow. Went shopping last night and the roads were icy and very slippery for a few miles. Once we got closer to home, the salt trucks had been out and the driving was much better. Still, I was very glad to be home. Keeping my fingers crossed that your gifts show up and that the rain holds off for your Angel Tree party. Looking forward to reading about it. Hugs, Kat
