Shopping for a food bank

Monday, November 18, 2019

We support a local food bank in our community, not our church, people are not like us, but they’re trying to feed 140 families every week and we’re in a position to help. It’s surprising to me how much food prices have gone up this past year. We load the car to the very ceiling every month so are very familiar with what prices are. How are the hungry and the poor supposed to feed their families? Is it tariffs or are we getting like Europe?

I am lucky to have several stores nearby that have amazing food prices - Aldi, Grocery Outlet, etc.
