It is a day to remember all those who lost their lives --for us---
I remember in school, colouring all the poppies ---and the helmets of the soldiers , and the crosses--It always seems to be an overcast day , as it is to-day-
Veterans' Day--or in Canada, we call it, Remembrance Day.
I was just outside, in the snow, extending my "Po Trail" for the Germans, as in dogs--
It is minus 19 C out there---very unusual for this time of year---
I think we broke a record with that temperature.
Last night , our plough guy, Andre, came and ploughed out the driveway, out by the road, as the city plough had dumped a ton of snow at the end of it--
So, it seems like we up here in the north, ( "We the North") are right , smack dab, into winter, whether we like it or not.
I hate to say it, but----that jolly old man is getting his sleigh in top notch shape ready for his trip-I think it was in at the dealers, where I got our snow tires on---The mechanic there said they had to grease his brake pads and the reindeer were out behind their shop, having their hoofs inspected ---some had to be re-shod ----
The Dealership were trying to keep it quiet but I knew---
Beau is hoping to be part of the manger scene again this year---
I just hope that I can keep it all together----walk a bit---keep the reindeer in shape--
-cut back on the food a bit, and remember that this world is unfolding the way it should--
To-day is one day----and Lord love a Duck! I AM IN IT!
