November 10, 2019 - I did everything right, turned the corner after a sleep-deprived night

Yesterday I literally 'ran out of gas' around 5pm. The truth is I was laggard all afternoon and ready for bed by 5:30. I managed to stay up to 6:30 when my neighbor dropped off halibut (yum for dinner tonight) and do my normal bedtime rituals. But slept nearly 11 hours last night/this morning. Sleep is sooooooooooooo important. Skinny with lethargy is NOT my goal.
I admit I hit a new 'high' last week. So yesterday I decided to eat healthy, watch my calories, control my portions, drink lots of water, keep busy with lots of movement and was richly rewarded this morning. So I give thanks and decide "I can do it again today" and even step up my activity based upon my sleep.
Rewards work wonders...weight loss, a good nights sleep, new red AND new navy blue booties and the warm of the sun outside while the birds sing and the butterflies flit. Got to remember everything in the moment can be a reward. Be in the moment...and
