Progress Made This Year So Far

I tracked my weekly weigh-ins since January and realized that I have really managed to basically maintain my weight this year instead of continuing to gain a huge amount of weight every year like I have been doing for the past several years. I was gaining from 30-50 pounds a year before so the fact that it's November and I'm three pounds down for the year is a huge accomplishment. And I did a really good job of not having a lot of huge gain months and even having a couple of really big loss months. And I've lost actually a large amount of bodyfat this year. So I'm very happy with how this year has turned out.

So so far I've lost 3.4 lb for the year and there's still time to lose a few more pounds before the end of the year. The main thing is that I have stopped gaining a significant amount of weight per year! So even if my weight loss is very slow, I don't mind as long as I keep losing.
