Streak Day 2 - Meal Replacement
Wednesday, November 06, 2019
With the change in season, I need more sleep. For the last 5 nights, I have got 7 hours of sleep and I am feeling so much better (thanks to Benadryl). Today I had a nap before dinner. Last night puppy slept 12 hours after she played outside all afternoon with our other dog Royce, then at night, we went to puppy socialization. Rebel was so tired, when we got home she put herself to bed right away.
My calorie range is 1,200 - 1,550. I am doing better with my calories this week. The meal replacements for breakfast are making a difference. I was hungry in the afternoon and had ham and beet hummus on WASA crackers for a snack (protein and fiber). Tonight for dinner I had codfish, greek salad vegetables with a lite raspberry vinegarette dressing, mashed cauliflower, roasted broccoli, and fruit salad.
I analyzed the last two days of my meals. I see they were lower carb, no whites - no potato, bread, rice or pasta. Last night we had zucchini with pasta sauce. I had not planned on eating this way, but lower carb seems to agree with me. Lately I am eating a lot of sugar free jello. I make it in 8 cup batches. In between meals when I think I want to eat, I have jello and seem to forget about eating more.
I have several pairs of blue jeans all the same size, but each pair fit me differently. One pair feels tighter and 2 other pairs fit about right. I've noticed one pair is starting to feel a little looser. That's a good sign, as my clothes get looser before I see a weight loss on the scale.
