Happy Halloween (USA) I don't know if the world globally celebrates this one.
Isn't this guy just so cute? I think I am going to make this when my g.daughter is here. She's so picky that maybe this will inspire a little more eating of the good stuff.
I don't know if Halloween is happening here in Chicagoland, we have rain, sleet, ice, snow and COLD! How's everyone doing with the bowls of candy? I bought stuff I mostly don't like so only ate a few mini's. Hopefully it will be gone tonight.
I shared this with my 5% Challenge group; my dad died October 31, 2002, Halloween, his favorite holiday. He was a really great human. He would give you the last buck in the bank and shirt off his back. One time my mom had him run to the store for something she needed for a recipe in progress. He was gone for the longest time. When He got home and mom was a bit furious, asked what took so long. Turns out a lady had locked her keys in her car and was distraught, he drove her to her home so she could get a set of keys and back to the store. He was the principal of my highschool and everyone loved him. He always made these incredible popcorn balls every Halloween, gave them to neighbors and his staff. They were so delicious that I really to this day will not eat anyone else's, he knew just how to get the syrup to perfection so they weren't chewy and sticky. He would great the little kids with Bible based questions they had to answer before they got their treats.
Have a great day
