All good news!

Hooray...my wonderful dentist says she can fix my broken tooth without doing a crown, which would be more than $1000, more if I need a root canal.
We are having a lovely fall in RI...not spectacular foliage but pretty nonetheless.
For my old (sorry!) sparkpeeps, remember when my dear man went through that major health crisis with the hospital acquired infections in his brain after a simple outpatient procedure on his back? Can you believe that was five years ago? Happy to report that he is about as close to normal as he ever was, although he does need to baby his back just a little bit.
My beloved DIL’s mother remarried last week (she has been a widow for ten years and her new hubby for about the same amt of time, they have been a couple for maybe five, at 76 and 78...they went to Greece for two weeks for a honeymoon!). We are all so happy for them!
Look how good Patrick looks!
My town puts on a great scarecrow display (a project of the rec dept and the library, created by families and groups) that is so lovely!
Our neighbor down the road puts on a spooktacular Halloween display every year, complete with sound effects, music and dry ice fog.
Part of the adventure for the kids is walking there in the dark with flashlights.
They look forward to it as soon as October arrives.
