Day 5 Keto

This morning I used by Ketone strips and I am in moderate Ketosis. emoticon I am already feeling less bloated. The only symptoms I've had of Keto flu is inability to sleep. I understand the process. I'll take it. The scales have already moved downward! Every morning I get up and it has gone down. My pain from my psoriatic arthritis inflammation has already improved some. My plan is to continue this and get off of the medications I'm on that are so toxic and lower your immune system, making you more susceptible to infections and cancer. I can't wait to do a before/after picture. I'm excited also that we have a new place across from where I work called Healthy 101. They make shakes and tea using Stevia. Tried it yesterday and they were both good and I was full for a long time!! I even met a girl that works there who says I have inspired her to start Keto for herself. I love motivating others. It keeps me motivated.

    As I posted on your lest blog, ... you mad it out past the point of running out of stored carbs. Marathon runners, when they run out of carbs mid race are said to "hit the wall". If you aren't running a marathon you run out of carbs after about 2 to 3 days and "hit the wall" in less dramatic fashion, but you still hit it.

    So you are beyond that! I too had some light sleep for the first two seeks or so. Every morning the scales going down. Looking at it week to week you will see a few pounds a week right now. Maybe 1/2 a pound a day, but across the week its a lot.
