Minor Set-back!

Sunday, September 08, 2019

Sometimes I just feel like I'm dancing - 2 steps forward and then a step backward. I had really felt good about my progress and then Thursday, I had a serious dizzy spell so ended up back in the ER. My heart is doing weird things again - it just decides to take a break every now and again. (In full blown A-Fib, it just stops for 1-2 seconds.) They kept me on the monitor overnight but I had no more dizziness so they've decided maybe it's "normal" for me. I am to call if I get dizzy again.

I just rested for 3 days so my walking and exercise streaks fell by the wayside. Hopefully I can get those restarted today. Food logging is going pretty well and I have been making pretty good choices (although I am still avoiding anything green because of the Vitamin K.) Tonight I'm having a broccoli salad so we'll see how that goes. The ounces are dropping steadily (note: I said ounces, not pounds! LOL - it's a whole lot slower coming off than it was piling on!)

It's so good to be back here on SP - I need to stay accountable to my friends in order to stay on track. Thanks to all of you for sharing my journey - even with all the humps and bumps!! Keep on Sparking and we'll all get there!

I'm so glad to back here on Spark People - Friends have been so encouraging so I know I

And, I'm so glad you're back! I missed you!!

Staying accountable is important to me too. I've been faithfully logging: 0 active minutes; 0 exercise minutes to the fitbit team for months now! It is what it is and what my body needs from me. But, there's something about checking in each day and posting anyway. So, step goals? Heck no!!! My goal is no exceeding the body's energy envelope … because when I do, body systems get wonky and extract a toll.
