Too much of a "good thing?"

I have been working out five morning a week AND I walk about 15,000 steps, on average, at work. I also usually run once on the weekend. However, this week a cold got me. I usually get one around the end of October, so this one is way early. I spent the weekend just recouping and resting. I've also lost about 5 lbs. since I started at my new school.
This all gets me wondering if my workout schedule is too much of a "good thing?" I think I've run myself down and I'm not taking in enough nutrition. The problem is I love my morning workouts, so I have a bit of a dilemma.
I think I'll just keep at it in the mornings and see how I'm doing in a month. Has anyone else had such a dilemma?
