Happy Update!

I lost 1.5 more pounds which puts me at my new lowest weight that I've seen since my early 20s!

I am working mainly on maintaining my weight loss, and decreasing my blood glucose. I reached a new low fasting blood glucose that I haven't seen in years!

I am focusing on eating lower carb, whole foods, and fasting. I got my new low after fasting 16+ hours for two days.

I feel hopeful that I can become healthy by sticking with lower carb (125 grams of carbs per day or less) and intermittent fasting. My main goal is normalizing my blood sugars. The decreased appetite and the weight loss is just the cherry on top.

My liver enzymes have normalized so that is another plus.

My perseverance will lead to success.

My secret is that I never give up no matter how many times I slip. My other secret is my fantastic spark pals who never give up on me even when I go missing a week here and there due to health issues or other concerns.

Success=proceeding forward in a positive manner. In other words, never give up and don't engage in guilt tripping!
