Some problems solved

After several phone calls to the cable company, I was finally able to connect with someone who not only was able to answer all my questions but is willing to help in the switch over from a "bulk" customer to a private customer. He explained the steps involved and said he would call me on the last day of my current service and he would set up the "installation", plus he gave me his direct phone number (none of the others would do that) so I could call him if I have any further questions. He explained that if he set up the switch today, I would be paying from today onward or he could leave it until next Friday and I would only pay from then on. As this week is still covered under the bulk contract, why would I want to start paying from today?
It has been frustrating trying to figure all this out, but I am more optimistic now and can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
