Week 2

emoticon So not a great 2nd week. Been keeping on eye on my nutritional stats. Realized they weren't as bad as I thought. So what was wrong? Haven't lost hardly any weight. Well I read an article about salt/sodium and realized my nutrition didn't display that, so I changed it to show. WOW! THROUGH THE ROOF! So I spent last week checking my sodium numbers. Only twice was I in range. Not sure how to fix this. I eat out to much. My lifestyle right now does not allow me alot of time to cook at home. Will do some research on this. This week I will be watching my sodium levels like a hawk! emoticon

I found a doctor who put me on Metformin, acarbose with meals, Armour Thyroid , a weekly shot of Bydureon, Progrestrone, Vitamin D3, Flintstone vitamin, and Baclofen (to relax muscles and let me sleep at night.) My blood sugar went from 115 to 100 and I stopped night time eating. Have a good physical with a doctor who understands metabolism.

Whenever you make a mistake or get knocked down by life, don't look back at it too long. Mistakes are life's way of teaching you. Your capacity for occasional blunders is inseparable from your capacity to reach your goals. No one wins them all, and your failures, when they happen, are just part of your growth. Shake off your blunders. How will you know your limits without an occasional failure? Never quit. Your turn will come.
