Tricking Myself into Being Motivated

I've found a great way to get myself to do things I don't like to do, like exercising, weeding, cleaning, reorganizing.
Netflix and youtube are my friends when cleaning, reorganizing and running on the treadmill. When cleaning, etc.. I like to watch something that doesn't take much concentration--usually something that I'm not totally into but am somewhat interested in. I love documentaries, particularly about history. This week, I am watching "The Family." When running, I like old mysteries from PBS, or columbo, Murder she wrote. So fun to see how things have changed from when those tv shows were made.
I also motivate myself to exercise by doing it outdoors. Something about exercising in nature really motivates me and makes my emotions soar afterwards. When I'm down, I find that a hike, a bike ride or a run on woodsy trails are what fixes me.
