Get it Done Day

We have 6 little darlings with us this summer. Despite the numbers, the house is staying tidy enough. We are having a garden party tomorrow, so it will be busy today getting the food prepped. This afternoon the kids are going to an all-day birthday party and sleepover and we will pop in for the cake.
Saturday To-Do List
1. clean bathrooms
2. tidy house
3. find party supplies - plates, cups, cutlery, napkins
4. arrange yard - seating, shade
5. finalize menu plan
6. prepare foods
As my health improves, so is my energy level. I am getting a better quality of sleep with the CPAP, have lost weight and am no longer borderline diabetic. Yesterday I got 9,000 steps just cleaning the house. I see projects that should be done around the house, garage, and yard. Declutter books, magazines, and papers - we read online or listen to audiobooks. Tackle some storage areas, organize my exercise equipment, make decisions about the pool table, and fireplace conversion. When my energy level was so low, I put blinders on so it didn't stress me to see a few things pile up. It's my nature to be a perfectionist so hopefully, my energy continues to improve and I get to all these projects.
