This OP had a similar realization to me, I did so many 'right' things that I ignored the actually correct way to go about weight loss.
"oh no! I spend 2 hours a day in the gym and this person eats bread and doesn't gain weight but I do, it's not fair!" (literally thoughts from my brain)
A million 'tips and tricks' and 'miracle cures' and 'quick fixes' and 'exercise' mean NOTHING compared to the good old math of CICO and addressing environmental and emotional and psychological issues that we focus on here at Sparks.
