New weigh-in and start date: Bastille Day, July 14th! "Vive la Resistance"!
Saturday, July 13, 2019
I missed out on keeping steady beginning USA's Independence Day, but tomorrow, on France's Fête Nationale Française (a.k.a. "Bastille Day"), I will adopt my newest chosen date for my lifestyle reset and "Soberversary". I WILL RESIST! I will resist food and beverages that are not good for me. I will resist my present disinclination to activity. I will resist letting all the political and other negative news to deter my efforts to get healthier and to keep a positive attitude. I will resist putting myself down and dwelling in past mistakes and regrets.
I fear that my weight is now well into the upper 180's, but I will find out tomorrow morning and will report it in my weight tracker and here on my blog as well as on my home progress chart, whatever the number turns out to be.
I know I have had many false starts, but I forgive myself. I am a flawed human and like all of us, sometimes our inner dialogue gets the better of us and we lose our way. The point is to never give up and to keep on trying. That's what I will do - over and over again (if necessary) until it finally "clicks" and I find a rhythm that moves me and keeps me moving. It WILL happen!
I will resume keeping an intake log because I believe it's necessary in my case. I also think I should log on to Sparkpeople at least once per day because I find so much inspiration and encouragement here and I like to keep up with how my Sparkfriends are doing.
I believe in "Liberté, fraternité et égalité"! (Freedom, fraternity and equality!) for ALL!
Have a good weekend,
