canning and anxiety!

I've got the first surgery next monday and I'm trying not to think about it. So, today I'm canning low-sugar apricot jam. My little is on vacation, but I have baby guineas in the kitchen to squawk at me and support me in my efforts. The sun is shining today, finally, even though rain is predicted. I've been THREE nights without night eating or binging at night, and I think increasing my calorie count at night and eating foods with tryptophan may be helping. We'll see if I can maintain that! I think I just wasn't eating enough! I'm looking out the front window as I write, and the birds are at the feeders, the flowers are blooming, and for now, all is well in my world. It's a beautiful day! I hope yours is as good.
