Relating to Trivia question of 6-23

Monday, June 24, 2019

I went and did more research, (I do that when puzzled) (and Heather finds the answers) emoticon
I found a site called Health line and they have the 3 essential Omega 3's and found the 8 others listed as non-essential. Interesting read and here are the non-essentials.
I don't recall the exact wording of the question.

8 other omega-3 fatty acids
ALA, EPA, and DHA are the most abundant omega-3 fatty acids in your diet.

However, at least eight other omega-3 fatty acids have been discovered:

hexadecatrienoic acid (HTA)
stearidonic acid (SDA)
eicosatrienoic acid (ETE)
eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA)
heneicosapentaenoic acid (HPA)
docosapentaenoic acid (DPA)
tetracosapentaenoic acid
tetracosahexaenoic acid
These fatty acids occur in some foods but are not considered essential. Yet, some of them do have biological effects.

So this brings the total to 11 essential Omega 3's And I have now learned something today which is what I try to do daily. Hope you all have a nice night and Tues.

We are going to the MN. zoo tomorrow with our financial advisor group. Should be a fun evening.
