I have been feeling tired and anxious lately and it has affected me mentally as I am Bipolar. I decided to get some bloodwork done for my thyroids, hormones, iron and vitamin D. They even took a few more tests such as sugar, cholesterol, and liver panel. I found out all is well except my vitamin D level is low and I am according to my doctor borderline diabetic I tested at 5.0. My mother says its not bad but I am still watching the sugar grams because I do not want to take insulin . I have sent the results of my bloodwork to my psychiatrist and we have an appointment to see how we can adjust meds to help with the affects of my anxiety I got off the sodas and because my favorite soda is coke, I went through some caffeine withdrawals it wasn't fun. The low vitamin D levels caused me to feel chronic fatigue and anxiety, so I am eating the foods with vitamin D and am taking supplements. I work at Subway and don't get in the sun much but I am going fishing with my husband tomorrow because I am off. I will get my Sun(Vitamin D) tomorrow. Now with the kicking the sugar habit, that is so hard. I am having trouble getting enough carbohydrates now that I'm having to choose my food more wisely, but I know I am up for the challenge.
