I woke up feeling lousy and hurting this morning and it's been that way all day. Weight was up 1.8, bloated, and my ankles, knee, and thumbs really hurt. I feel like I've been eating all day and I'm ravenous! My head is fuzzy and I have no motivation. I have literally spent almost all day playing on the computer. I did the minimum of work inside (make bed, do dishes, laundry, wash floors) and a little bit outside (watered plants, refilled pond, sprayed weeds). Nowhere near what I generally get done on the weekend. I didn't even mow the lawn!
I think the problem with the hurt, weight gain, and bloating is because of my poor food choices yesterday. DD & I went to the Farmer's Market and had lunch from one of the food trucks. I had nachos. Corn and black beans are untested items plus the cow's milk cheese in abundance and the sodium didn't help.
I really think my body is rebelling against all the carbs I've been eating. I ate pretty strict Keto until I started this Plan. I felt 100% better eating Keto than I do now plus I was eating what I consider real food, not flax or chia seeds. I'm going to slowly start reducing the carbs until they're back to 30-50g per day plus increase the sodium & potassium to get my muscle cramps back under control. Once I'm back into nutritional ketosis I'll start testing foods again. Since I'm going to try for 30-50g rather than the 20g I used do I will be able to test some of the higher carb foods. If my weight goes up that item probably isn't a friendly food.
Losing weight is great, feeling good is better.
