Feeling good...

I'm feeling good today about reaching my goals. Granted, these goals are not the goals of an Olympian :-) but I'm sticking to the old adage of "Slow and steady wins the race." Is that it? I think so, at least something like that...

I rode my bike yesterday. Amazingly my knee held out and the ride didn't create any more pain than I'm already experiencing. That's a good thing because it's bearable.

I'm feeling hopeful today. My mind keeps going to a scenario of working out for an hour at a rate of a 30 year old and I'm learning to take a breath and continue this journey a day at a time. I've always been a fairly good athlete (in the old days!) and that mindset stays with me. I think that happens to a lot of people. I'm trying to remember to give myself a break and do whatever I can to gain strength in the body I have NOW!

    I think that's very well said. Indeed let's look at where we are at now, at how our body works now, and go from there!

    How nice that you took the bike and had a good experience. Remember it's so much better to do just 10 to 15 minutes every day than to do 1 hour once a week!
