Sunset in Brussels
Saturday, June 15, 2019
Thursday night I walked home instead of taking the metro after watching a movie, to cram in a little more activity into my day.
There was a big shower just before, which made the air clear, sharp and bright, perfect for taking photos.
At one point this beautiful sunset was waiting for me.
This is a great spot for a panorama, so when walking home in the evening, I often route my path through this place.
The Tour de France (a big cycling competition) will start from Brussels this year, and there are all sorts of activities leading up to the first day.
This arch is entirely made from discarded bikes.
When I don't go by bike, I usually take the public transport. Often I get off one stop earlier, to walk a bit more, or just walk instead. Brussels is such a beautiful city, I enjoy just walking along the streets, and take in all the impressions.
How often commute by walking?
Is it feasible where you live?
