A happiness dare!

Wednesday, June 12, 2019

Today I would like to dare you to write down 10 things that make you happy or that you are thankful for.

Here are 10 things of my list:

1* I am so thankful for the relationship with my husband.
2* I am glad to live in this house which is in a nice quiet neighbourhood
3* I am thankful that I was able to get the education I did
4* I'm proud that I was able to learn to speak in public and teach guest classes for groups of up to 300 people.
5* I'm happy that we have been able to have 3 dogs so far.
6* I'm grateful that my body can perform almost all of the tasks I want to do: walk, talk, write, read, do household chores.
7.* I'm very thankful for my good friends who have been a great support to me in the past year.
8* I'm glad I've been able to be of support for my parents as they got old.
9* I'm grateful that we have enough money to cover the basic needs and more.
10* I'm glad that I got the chance to learn English rather well so I can write this blog! emoticon

Yes, those are all things to be grateful for. And an attitude of gratitude is so important.

As far as # 10, your English is awesome. Your use of it is so accurate, including your use of expressions and slang.
