Just diagnosed

My husband just got his labs back and his glucose levels were a 194 and was shocked that the doctor has not called and it has been 4 days without him reading his results i am positive he is diabetic and now I need to educate myself in how to help my husband, just really disappointed with the Dr in how slow they are getting back with you on something that is this important !

    Sorry to hear about your husband. Since the two years since I've been in the hospital have I realized how doctors seem to show no concern and how little they seem to know. I dislike the term "pre-diabetic," my feeling now it I am or I'm not. It is just the severity level may flux. emoticon
