"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"

Today is day 5 of being back completely on track and I cant explain of how good it feels! And its all began with that single step. That single step to make the a healthier food choice, that single step to go on a walk, that single step to track my food, that single step to choose water over pop or any other sugary drink. A healthy life style has a lot of single steps that leads to being successful, but all it takes it that one single step to get you started. I woke up and decided to take that single step to eat a healthy breakfast and from there my whole day fell into place. And since for the last 5 days, I have been doing that over and over again and have had a successful week!

Being back on track has helped me in so many ways- it has really helped my anxiety. I have noticed such a huge difference this week from last week. It has helped improved my mood, I deal with depression- and although I wasn't in a really bad place, I was headed there with my emotions and mental state of mind for so many reasons- and since being on track- I have been in a better mood, a clearer state of mind- and I feel like Im not as irritable. I have more energy. I'm not only exercising, Im more active just in general. Im cooking dinner, I'm doing more chores around the house. I'm sure its a combinations of being more active and eating healthier. I just feel better. I feel better about myself, I have a more positive attitude! Eating healthy and exercising is so much more than just losing weight, its helps me in so many ways. It is such a great feeling to feel so refreshed this week!


A healthy lifestyle is a lifetime commitment. Its not a trend, its not temporary, its not diet...its about balance, its about making healthy choices most of the time. Every day isn't going to perfect, every day isn't going to be easy. There will be hard days, its will be a struggle but I know it will be more than worth it. I will have to continually take this journey, its will last a lifetime. But it will have many rewards, and I will be a much healthier, happier, and active person.


A healthy lifestyle is all of this and more...and its more than worth it! Being on track feels amazing! And it all began with that single step!
