day eight

Put off going for a walk this morning but did go to store to stock up on fruit and veggies. Got cut up and ready to eat watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, and strawberries plus some red grapes and bananas, also tomatoes, squash, celery. mini sweet peppers, beet and bagged salad mix. I had some strawberries and mini peppers with lunch and so good. This morning I had oatmeal with half a can of 100% pumpkin and added spices. It was so filling that I couldn't eat all of it but then ate rest as snack before going to the store. This evening I did some work in backyard garden. I really need to weed in front but will try to do some tomorrow. I thought there was water fit classes in the evening but only on Mon. and Wed. so thoughts of doing that on Friday isn't going to happen. Helped son grill some chicken breast on the Foreman grill for his brother and him and heat some veggies. His brother thought in all tasted good. And since donuts on sale at store for National Donut Day, I got a dozen for them. I'm not planning on eating any.

    LOVE my version of pumpkin pie oatmeal (just oats, canned pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spices). Filling for sure, and that extra boost of fiber from the pumpkin! Delish
