It's been a relatively blah day. Pretty much the same as most other days.

GS was brought over at 0600 instead of the 0445. No notification that it was going to be a late drop-off. I had asked for at least a 12 hour notice but I guess his Dad can't remember that. (No love lost here.) I was already up and GS wasn't about to go back to sleep so my routine was totally interrupted.

DD came over after she got off work and I made a breakfast of waffles, eggs and ham. I had some leftover spiral ham from Christmas that I kept forgetting about so I pulled that out instead of bacon. GS didn't know about it but did try it and liked it, 2 slices worth!

I did go to work today. After checking my e-mails and catching up with the local gossip I worked on my website some. If you would like to check it out and give me some (gentle, constructive) criticism it is pocatelloseniors
. Yes, I know the name is too long and I will change that before I go "live".

I did do 1 BIG thing today. I wrote the largest check that I have ever written. I'm having solar panels put on my roof. Today I was told that all the preliminary inspections, paperwork, permits, etc. had been finished. They needed 1/2 of the balance in order to schedule the work. I transferred the money from savings into checking and wrote the check. I had the choice of solar panels or a new mid-sized truck. I think the solar panels will pay off better in the end. The only downer is that they are so booked up that they won't be able to start until the 1st week in July.

Sounds like you are making progress on your side business. **HUGS** writing large checks always stresses me out a bit. Hang in there, July isn't that far away.

I just checked out your web site Jocy. I think it is very professional, yet friendly. I like what you have done. And it is a very needed service. I work through our local senior center, assisting seniors in their homes. So I realize how important it is. Good luck.

DANG, Ms Jocy, your site looks good ta' go!! It's EASY to 'click' from one service to another and your FAQs are understandable and very helpful too. I would enjoy many of the conveniences you offer. Question: Why not INCLUDE people (adults) with Special Needs who live on their own in the community too? It would broaden/widen your target market to those others who may need you.

Can't deny I *love* your choice of solar panels!
