I should get back to journaling. It helps me to stay on track. Breakfast this morning was grapefruit, yogurt, hemp hearts, ground flaxseed, a sprinkle of pecans and pumpkin seeds. and a drizzle of honey. I should have taken a picture of it. I need to work on getting in more water. That is an area I just don't even think of during the day. It is 11 a.mm. and I've had two cups of coffee. That's it. How does everyone get their water in and how do they track it?

The summer heat is on now where I live, so intake of water is very important. I read that one should drink water BEFORE drinking coffee (or tea) in the morning so I try to drink 16 oz (2 cups) of water at least 1/2 if not all before coffee or I drink both at the same time. A good rule of thumb is 2 cups with every meal (that's 6 cups) and one cup with a snack mid morning and mid afternoon and that totals your 8 cups a day. You don't have to eat a snack, water can be your snack!

Yummy breakfast! I make a point of drinking a glass of water after each time I empty my bladder, double benefit!

I keep a 24 oz. water bottle on my desk and another that goes back and forth in the car with me - I'm drinking all day and usually drink down 3 to 5 of them a day. Three of those is the same as nine 8 oz. glasses of water.

Water with lemon or lime by my side. Love the breakfast. Yeah, I photo my meals too. Helps me fight the Ad blitz of bad food out there. You got this!

I always have water within reach. I fill up large mugs and glasses with ice and then water so it is always cold and ready. I know how much the mugs and glassed hold with and without ice.

That breakfast sounds amazing! I track water in my fitness journal now but I used to use another app called water minder. Its great for figuring out what your goal should be and you can schedule reminders throughout the day to drink water.
