"Keep pushin', keep pushin' on..."

In the almost-month since my last update my weight loss has been plugging along at roughly 2 pounds per week. After cutting ties with my trainer, I've put together weekly workouts based on some of the routines he put together for me and do 45 minutes of cardio before each strength training session. Logging food daily and staying towards the lower end of my calorie range. Planning ahead helps when I know I've got an event coming up that could result in a "calorie bomb meal". emoticon I did adjust the food tracker to account for the approximate amount of calories I'm burning each week, which led to a slight increase in my daily calorie range.

I enjoy this time of year as the weather starts to get nicer and the yard starts needing some "heavy lifting" to get it in shape after the Oregon winter. I'd rather do work that results in something I can immediately see instead of burning the same calories on the treadmill to nowhere.

I've got a couple of rewards planned for attaining particular weight loss targets along the way to my goal, which I hope will make this more fun. In the meantime, things are good and progress is being made.
