Forty and Fabulous

Tuesday, May 07, 2019

Well..... I didn't make my goal. I had big goals at the beginning of the year to be down in weight by the time I turned 40. Well, it didn't happen.

What did happen was an awesome mother/daughter weekend ending my 30's. My sister and niece joined us as well.

We hiked... we shopped... we swam... we drank wine (well only me and my sister... And I had so much fun spending quality time with my daughter.

Here is some of the views from our hikes:

Love catching cool pictures of my daughter!

So I didn't make my goal but that doesn't mean I have to stop. I am going to make 40 the best year yet. I have weight I want to drop. I want to be more present. I want to enjoy life and not worry about the little stuff.

My sister and I also started talking about running another marathon together. I am making plans... time to make sure to take action! Because yes, I dreaded turning 40 but it is just a number.

Forty ain't nothin' girl!!!! I love the pictures of your fun times. Happy belated birthday, maybe change the goal to "while you are 40". I have a goal to lose 70 by 70, yes, 70lbs by my 70th b.d. I don't think I am going to make it but will be very close and I probably should be more positive about getting there.
