Two weeks, two pounds.

In the two weeks since my last post I've dropped two more pounds. Seems like such a small amount until I pick up a couple of bricks of butter at the supermarket and think "I was carrying THIS around with me all the time before." Progress!
This morning my trainer took a look at my SparkPeople food entries and told me that all the dietary information I'm getting here is wrong (he wants me at 60% protein, 25% carbs and 15% fat). I don't think I'm heading down that path, as the info here at SP has worked well for me in the past. I did three 25 minute strength sessions last week, combining each with 45 minutes of cardio (treadmill, bike or elliptical machine) and netted the 2 pound loss. Dropped three inches as well, so I do believe I'm on the right path going forward.
Other progress: I've gone from 2.8 mph up to 3.5-4 mph intervals on the treadmill. The past few days I've stopped feeling winded going up our stairs as well. At 61 years young my body doesn't seem to respond quite as quickly as it used to in my 40's, but I know the work will be worth it.
