Moving forward - trying to balance life

I have been trying to figure out how to live a more balanced life and lifestyle. My niece talked me into doing WW with her and her friend. She also created an online support group for us on Facebook.
I must say while the LCHF gave me results, it was not sustainable for me. I really wanted it to be but in the end it wasn't a good match. The WW approach is teaching me how to balance life and my approach to food.
There is quite an adjustment from eating the cheese, bacon and nuts. Learning to snack on lower fat options while keeping to whole natural foods and away from fast and junk foods. So far so good, not perfect. But perfect is unrealistic and I am learning that is ok. I am hoping to have more meals with my husband too.
So far I am eating fruits and veggies daily. I am mindful of the lower carb fruits as I don't need the extra carbs even though natural. I'm excited for the local farmer's market opening in a couple of weeks.
I have also been successful on getting into the gym again. Taking that slow as to not hurt or aggravate my back injury. But feeling good with my progress so far.
