Train Your Brain Not To Complain!
Wednesday, April 17, 2019
If you have nothing good to say, say nothing. We've all heard it! Discouraging and complaining words tear people down and sometimes keep them down. I complained about one job that I had until I didn't have that job anymore. I thought that I was better than that job. No one wants a complainer to point out every error that is seen. It's much easier to point out faults than to find solutions. “ Complaining never makes anything better.” Often, it makes things worse!
“When you complain, you make yourself a victim. Leave the situation, change the situation, or accept it. All else is madness.” Eckhart Tolle No one wants to hear extra complaints!
Today part of me would like to complain about my upcoming vacation week. While others are going to visit family, I will be staying at home. Finances don't allow for a trip to Florida or even New Jersey right now. We're staying in New Hampshire, hiking, and working on the house. But why complain when so many other people don't have a week off? Why complain when everyone is healthy and life is good? I am thankful for the wonderful family that I will call on the phone and my 97-year-old Mom who I will be able to help this coming week.
Life is good when you keep the right attitude!
