My daughter has been doing great with her weight and she only 10 years old. I have been doing great with my weight as well. I hate to say it, but with the flu bug still running rampant I have lost an additional 5 pounds. Getting sick and losing weight due to being sick is by no means the healthiest way to lose weight, but you can't hold anything in your stomach, that kind of weight loss is considered normal. I am only able to drink water or gatorade to keep myself hydrated. I try to eat, but with not feeling good still, food isn't staying in my stomach for long.

I am still in the process of quitting smoking. I have slowed down quite a bit. I quit drinking alcohol, so that does help.

My Fitbit's battery finally went kaput and so I have no way of tracking my steps, sleep, heart rate, etc. However, I will be getting an Apple Watch instead of a Fitbit. I took a migraine study ( I suffer from severe migraines) and was awarded an Apple Watch. I get it tomorrow.

Lastly, I finally got the courage to tell my sister-in-law that her sons can not be anywhere near my kids (especially the son that was recently released from prison). I knew she mad, but I felt relieved. I can't trust her kids. No way.

I'm sorry you have been so ill. Hopefully you are over the worst of it and will start feeling better soon. As for telling your sister-in-law about her sons, you are wise to have taken that step. Protecting our kids is a primary part of our parenting job even when it takes a lot of strength from us. Three cheers for you!

So sorry that you have had the flu. An Apple Watch sounds nice. I hope you can quit smoking all together. Good job on quitting drinking.
