mind games as I get to 64

Monday, April 01, 2019

I will be another year older in 2 days...I have lost a total of 67 pounds, I have had to take out more clothes out of the closet that don't fit. Have had many compliments lately. But I have been hovering 3 pounds down, 3 up, 3 down, 2 up.... I had increased my exercise, but not consistant. Have eaten within my calorie limits but more on the high end...… Auuggghh. … I know the scale doesn't matter but you know it does mess with your mind. I am healthier than I have been in decades, off all medications, able to do activities I hadn't been able to in years, I have enjoyed life more, considering a great woo hoo, don't let anyone make you feel like you shouldn't enjoy life, no matter what size. But I want to loose more.. So I will buck up, make it through my happy birthday celebrations, because Life is good, and I will continue to make good choices. I said I was going to join the y and swim but its 50 minutes away and have been busy. I will still consider this. Good luck and Happy April everyone. Wish me luck I have my birthday, mother in laws ,2 daughters birthdays to celebrate, easter, and many church dinners.... We can do this. !!

What a lot of positive things to celebrate. Sometimes we just need to rest a bit and than on we go. This is a journey and it isn't over so be patient and kind to yourself.

I'm going to be 63, I go up & down the same 2 pounds for 2 months. I tell myself that is where my body is comfortable. I know it's an excuse but it is working 😂😂😂. I will rejoice when those 2 lbs are gone forever.

You can do it. Happy early birthday. I have been doing yo-yo acts on the scale too. I am up then down the up again. I am hoping replace a couple of meals woth shakes will help me get the weight off and keep it off.
