Reached "One-derland"!

Saturday, March 16, 2019

I finally did it! On March 9th, 2019 I stepped on the scale per my morning routine...and...199.6 lbs appeared! 😱 I was so happy! I hadn't seen this number since early 2012! I've been morbidly obese for 7 years now. I can't believe that I've finally found a lifestyle that I can easily maintain AND enjoy! I'm actually ENJOYING the process. πŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈ Weight loss during all of those other times that I failed to adhere to my plans always felt like such a chore. THIS time feels like I'm hiking a mountain and taking rests when I need it, but a mountain that I can see the top of! I'm 53 lbs down as of today (scale read 198.6 lbs!). Pounds wise, I'm already a tad past half way to my goal of 150 lbs. Body fat percentage wise, I'm not sure if I should go lower or not. For now I'm just focusing on doing what I enjoy and consistently tracking my meals.

If I can do it, any one can! I hope any one reading this finds inspiration. I'm a 30 year old mom of three who works full-time and STILL somehow manages to find time for my health. There are definitely times when I have to get my fitness in at inconvenient moments (right before bed 😡), but I just keep going. Seriously though...nutrition is your first focal point when your goal is to lose fat. You MUST be in a caloric deficit - and to be sure you ARE, you MUST track your food as accurately as possible (I use a food scale). Fitness is secondary, that's just to enhance your results and make you feel like a BOSS! πŸ’ͺ😎

I am so over the moon about my success! I feel like the old me! The me who was suffocating inside of the obese me. I am willing to give advice to any one who seeks it - don't hesitate to reach out to me if you need guidance. I'm obviously not a trained professional; just a regular woman who's learned so much achieving her goals. 😁

Thank you all for reading and I hope you have a blessed life.
