I am supposed to blog about my progress today, Day 6:
I decided to do this on a Thursday evening and started learning about the SP changes. After a couple of days I decided to join the Diabetic Challenge and use that food tracker since I am prediabetic and bloodwork is coming up next month. Everything has gone well so far.
Today. Well, today I am on the road with my trucker husband headed to Texas from Indiana, and being on the truck is always a challenge, more with exercise than anything due to time and lack of safe walking areas. So far though, I have walked Miss Bella and followed up with 10 minutes of upper body strength training with 5# dumbbells. I have a healthy breakfast logged and the fridge, freezer, and pantry are all stocked with healthy foods. I do cook our meat ahead due to limited time so I only have to cook vegetables. I do almost always cook a fresh breakfast and sometimes prepare a meal in the Aroma 3-in-1 rice cooker.
All in all I am quite pleased at the way the first week has been going. Balancing my macros by the meal to keep my blood sugar steady is a little challenging since that option seems only available on my Macbook that travels with us. At least I haven't figured how to do it on my phone or small android tablet.
