Back to the Gym

Went back to the gym today, for the first time in quite awhile. I think I have a schedule worked out to make it a few times a week. I am surprised by how much strength I have lost, in my arms and core especially. I'm not as surprised by my lack of cardiovascular endurance. But the muscle loss.... wow. I think this time around that may be my main motivation for making it to the gym. I'm hoping to incorporate some other activities back into my schedule as well, hiking and Tai Chi primarily. I miss writing blogs, getting my thoughts down and sharing them with any and all who care to read. Even if just short notes, I'd like to get back into that habit as well.
