making a comeback

Wednesday, February 06, 2019

So pretty much I have spent the last almost 5 years just teeter tottering with my weight working my self all the way back up to 280 pounds, Trying all sort of different pills, shakes etc and well im tired of it I need to lose this weight once and for all! I dont get a whole lot of support at home the hubby is a junk food addict while he needs to lose weight too he doesnt have the feel for the need too. I see all the problems that run in my family and my loved ones who are now older dying from type 2 diabetes complications and heart problems and high blood pressure and kidney issues that scares me, it scares me more than i would like to admit because their problems start much like mine are back pain, then a little bit elevated blood sugar etc. and while in those 5 years i have tried to come back before its never stuck because i just wasnt ready, this is going to be a hard journey without much support at home but i did it before and i can do it again

Make your mind up to set your goals and go after them. If you are the food preparer in your house, then you can help the whole family by cooking healthy and remove the fast food from your diet. This could be a start. Make good choices at home and you might convert hubby to a healthy lifestyle as well.

I really know the situation you’re in. I’m there too. As you said you’ve done it before so you know you can. Won’t be easy but you can

Stick with it, you can. Have you "had a talk with hubby"? Maybe his doc? My wife likes fast food but I won't buy it. Have you tried doing a gradual calorie drop? That's where my success is coming from.
