Time to be serious.

I have played around now since September, staying sort of on the program but not really. I see the scale moving upwards so it's time to slap myself and get in a groove. I am doing so many things right, but I am dropping the ball when it I should be adjusting the ball and running to the endzone. Of course, there isn't an endzone in the game of getting healthy. I may have sidestepped when it's needing a full-throttle effort. I was thinking even with the studder steps, I still have the long game in mind. I am still here, I have not returned to never land, the goal and the journey are still mapped out in front of me. I am here and looking forward to making progress. Now to look at the goal and keep it in my mind every moment.

    Glad you checked in on my Spark Page. (We are on the SparkTeam: Dr. Fung.) -- I will be planning a longer fast in February. My last one was in December, before Christmas & went about 6 days.

    Unfortunately, I'm 10 lbs up from my lowest point of 2018 (so now I have 30 lbs to lose to "goal" weight vs. 20). Sigh.... I still have a monkey on my back called: "sugar issues"...or "all things chocolate".

    I WILL get there this coming year! But I have to decide that my health is more important than either sugar or chocolate! -- Finding the things that mess up my gut health has also been a process....
