GoldsFit Challenge week 1

Saturday, January 05, 2019

Today was my official weigh in for a 12 week challenge I signed up for at my gym. I came in at 173 pounds! Of course I pick the picture day to happen rt before my “monthly ritual” because I would be bloated. Moreover, I worked out only once a week, I ate very high in sodium foods, not to mention the eating extremely unhealthy and a lot of fried foods, for the past 2 weeks. On the plus side, I picked up the 10 pounds wowzers 😳 but again I joined a challenge and I’m sure I will lose it with no problem but the downside is much much worst: I have been eating so healthy and exercising consistently (at least 3-4 times min a week) and to just switch up abruptly 2 weeks ago I think my body literally went into shock! Lol it’s funny but I am soooo serious. For the past two weeks, but mostly this recent last week (which happens to run into the beginning of the year 🤦🏾‍♀️): 1. increased unbearable migraines 2. The feeling of extreme dehydration 3. Very moody 4. Yet very very very lethargic 5. My irritability has been through the roof I’m so glad that the challenge has finally started (as I’m sure my husband and son is too)! Just being able to now relax and not eat fast food tots and force food down my throat is amazing. Just this one day my mood have changed significantly! I’ve always struggled with an appetite but to be able to just listen to my body and not eat because I’m not hungry is a huge relief (I really struggled trying to eat more than I was use to especially greasy foods). Overall, I’m in it to win it! But if I don’t it’ll make for a great experience that I will definitely share with all the Sparklers here! I’ll try to post every Saturday to keep I guys updated for my 12 week journey as well as watch my transformations that I’m sure I’ll have. Until next weekend... enjoy life
