For most people, losing weight is hard. It is not as easy as eating less and exercising more for many people and for others fitting in the exercising and learning new ways to eat is just not so easy.

We do 12 week challenges to help encourage people to do the work needed to lose weight, as well as learning about things that can help you lose weight faster (eating more unprocessed foods and exercising more efficiently).
But most important is learning what works for you to consistently lose weight each week (or most weeks at least). The Renegades is a participation required team, that means you need to do some exercise including some strength training (so we lose more fat and less muscle while losing weight), and eat according to a food plan that helps you lose weight. You can add in to your weekly challenge anything that you know helps you to consistently lose weight.
Some people know what they need to do to lose weight and just need the support to keep working their plans, others are still doing some trial and error to figure out what helps them lose weight (in a healthy way).
Renegades use a web page, accessible on tablets and phones, so you can track your progress and even check how you are doing on a daily basis. Or you can just report your numbers every Wed - for accountability.

We do not do a lot of social chatting, members are expected to spend more time exercising then they do online with the group (a couple short checkins a week are enough).
