Good bye 2018 and hello 2019

2018 was not my best year. I spent a large portion of it sick and spent a lot of time in doctors offices trying to figure out what was wrong, and we never did. When I did start feeling better health wise it took me a little bit to figure out it was time to come back to spark and get my diet and exercise back in check. By then it was late September and I have been doing well since then. Not that I haven't had my stumbles and my eating hasn't been the greatest but I have been definitely moving forward!
This past year I have gone from 253 to 235 which over all considering is wonderful. I am liking how I am feeling, I look forward to work outs and even when I am eating bad there is that little voice in my head letting me know "hey, you shouldn't be doing that".
What I am looking forward to in 2019 is continuing my journey, reaching more goals, keeping up with my step challenges and feeling better about myself! 1 of my biggest goals for the year is wearing a dress to my kids graduation that has no x's involved at all, just a normal size dress, bought in a normal clothes store and not a specialty store for larger women. I know I can do this and I can't wait to post the pictures.
I am also working on being more mindful and less careless with projects and work things. I seem to be getting more forgetful and I think it is because I am always thinking about the next thing instead of concentrating on what is in front of me.
Already losing some weight and being on track really has me looking forward to summer activities especially hiking and kayaking, neither of which I did last summer :-(
Well, here is to 2019, reaching goals, staying active, eating well and sparking daily!
