12/23 Progress Update :/

Hi Spark Friends! I've been intending to post a weekly update on my progress, but I just realized I haven't posted an update in about 3 weeks. I've hit some rough patches with the extended family - aren't holidays grand? - and have been struggling with my emotional eating. It's been too cold outside to go on my walks every day, but I've found some indoor strength training and cardio videos that I can do to stay on top of my fitness goals on days I can't exercise outside. My weight has been holding at 150 and I know I have to focus on healthier coping skills and be honest with myself in my food journal again to get back on track. My current mini goal is to reach 147 pounds, which will move me from the obese category to the overweight category. The great thing about SparkPeople is every day, every hour, every minute is a new chance to get back up and back on track, no matter how many times or how big we mess up.

Here's to reaching 147!
